The Religious Education Program at Saint George-Piscataway is offered to our children of 3 through 18 years old, and provides them with an Orthodox Christian foundation of faith and values. Classes are held from September through June on Sunday morning. Students are instructed in the teachings and traditions of Orthodox Christianity at an age appropriate level by committed volunteers. Each class follows an established curriculum developed by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America Department of Religious Education, and participates in special projects that enhance their learning process. We also offer a music program that includes the teaching of many liturgical hymns. Each class participates in the Divine Liturgy where their knowledge of our Holy Orthodox Church is reinforced.
We appreciate the time and talents that each dedicated volunteer offers us in teaching our students the religious, moral and holy principles of our Orthodox Christian way of life. If you would like to participate in our program, please contact us at email@example.com.
