“Weird Animals: Where Jesus’ Love is One of a Kind” was the theme for the 2017 summer Vacation Bible Camp here at St. George.
God graced the week of June 26-30, 2017 with sunshine and His love as 47 campers participated in an action-packed week of experiencing the love of Christ. The daily schedule included a Bible point, a Bible story, a music stampede, kidvid cinema, imagination station, outdoor activities, a craft station and delicious snacks at the critter café.
Our church was decorated with fun and bright decorations to add to the already energized atmosphere. A local pet owner brought in weird and not so weird animals and talked about how to care for God’s creatures.
We thank all the campers and their families who made the program a big success. Our deep gratitude to the many volunteers whose help and dedication made the program run as smooth and flawless as it did. We look forward to VBC 2018! Stay tuned for information!
